Leadership

A survey, conducted by the International Executive Panel at Egon Zehnder, revealed that integrity is the most important quality of a leader. The survey respondents included business people from companies in France, England, Germany, and the United States.
So, is there a path towards integrity?
The term "integrity" evokes such moral qualities as honesty and responsibility. It also suggests the quality of someone "whole". Its etymology is "integer", which signifies "whole", and the word refers to someone able to erase the internal divisions that characterize all of us and produce negative behaviors if they remain unknown. These unidentified pieces can easily become internal tyrants that take control.
The road to "Individuation", described by Carl Jung, is the journey in which the divided person becomes an "in-dividual" or un-divided. The process of Individuation and the path to integrity are, therefore, closely linked and can be of interest to anyone in a leadership role, or to anyone wanting to improve their self-leadership. My leadership classes are based on and inspired by the work of C.G. Jung.
